Nina Dopamine is a New York City-based pop-rock singer-songwriter who writes songs instead of keeping a diary, turning emotional oversharing into cathartic anthems. Influenced by the alternative music of the early 2000s, she combines driving alternative rock with an infectious pop sensibility, all while keeping the storytelling front and center. Her brutally confessional songs explore love, heartbreak, and trauma, pairing sharply self-aware songwriting with incisive psychological insights into herself and the people who've shaped her life.

An unexpected late bloomer, Nina wrote her first song at 28 while working as a software engineer after graduating from Harvard. Though she'd taught herself guitar as a teenager, she'd never considered pursuing music and had never sung in front of anyone. Then one night, heartbroken and trying to process what had happened, she picked up her guitar and wrote an entire song in one sitting.

What followed was several months of an identity crisis, navigating an industry she knew nothing about, and writing new songs as her personal life kept giving her material. Those songs became her debut EP dopamine rush which traces the addictive highs and inevitable crashes of using love as an escape, culminating in the realization that no relationship can save her from her own life. The EP earned praise from Ones to Watch for its “vulnerable storytelling and sharp lyricism” and New Noise Magazine for its “buoyant hooks [and] unflinching introspection."
